Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park (7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari)
You will reach Tarangire National Park after a morning safari briefing and an about two-hour drive on your 7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari. The wonder of this natural reserve is enhanced by the enormous baobab trees, the bush savannah, and the periodic marshes. One of the best sites to see elephants up close is the Tarangire National Park. Additionally, the park is home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, all of which are constantly being closely watched by a variety of predators including lions. Although cheetahs are rarely seen, leopards are occasionally sighted. You may take in the scenery and observe the wildlife from the safari vehicle’s open roof. You will depart the park in the late afternoon and go to the Lake Burunge Tented Camp, where you will overnight.
Lunch; Dinner
Day 2: Tarangire Area– Lake Manyara National Park (7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari)
You will travel from the Tarangire region to the Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast on your 7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari. The park is renowned for its grassy plains, dense forests, and more than 400 different bird species. The alkaline Lake Manyara, the seasonal nesting grounds for vast colonies of flamingos and many other birds, covers a sizable portion of the park. Aside from baboons and noisy monkeys, the park is also home to giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas. You will go to the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge, where you will spend the night, following a lengthy wildlife drive.

Day 3: Lake Manyara Area – Serengeti National Park (7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari)
After breakfast, you will journey through the cooler highlands toward the southern Serengeti, arriving at the park’s plains by midday on your 7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari. This park, which is the biggest in Tanzania, offers a variety of ecosystems and landscapes, including marshes, lakes, short-grass plains, and savannah. Predators are frequently seen in the grassy area, which is dotted with bizarre rock formations called kopjes. The annual migration of wildebeests and zebras across the Serengeti to find new pasture and water is what makes the region famous. At the Kati Kati Tented Camp inside the park, you will spend the night.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park (7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari)
The Serengeti National Park dedicates the entire day to game viewing on your 7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari. Where the migratory herds are will determine which regions you visit. Predators like lions, leopards (among the acacia trees), and cheetahs generally trail the wandering animals closely. The herds migrate from the northern hills to the southern lowlands during the brief rainy season in November and December. They migrate back up north during the longer rainy season, which lasts from April to June. The location of the herds may change from year to year because the migration is entirely reliant on the annual rainfalls, but your guide will know where to look for the animals and where to get the greatest views of them. You’ll stay one additional night at Kati Kati Tented Camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Karatu – Coffee Walk (7-Day Northern Tanzania Safari)

You will immediately notice the enormous caldera below as you approach the Ngorongoro Crater’s edge; it is an incredible sight. Drive to Karatu in the Ngorongoro highlands after leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. To understand more about coffee growing and processing, enjoy a walk of the coffee plantation here. One of the three exquisitely situated Tanganyika Wilderness Adventure Lodges will be where you spend the night.
