5 days Tour of the Maasai culture, Tarangire, and Serengeti: 5 days Tanzania safari is a journey that begins in Arusha, where you can engage in cultural activities and meet Maasai people. During the safari, you will also take part in safari activities in Tarangire and Serengeti national parks.
Itinerary
Day 1; pick up from the airport and Maasai cultural tour
Day 2; drive to Tarangire national park
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and your guide will welcome you and you will start your journey to Tarangire national park. You will engage in a game drive around the national park as you look out for various wildlife species such as elephants, zebras, cheetahs, lions, buffalos, leopards, cheetahs among others. You will have your lunch ahead of your drive to Karatu where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Karatu tented lodge.
Day 3; drive to Serengeti national park
Before setting out on your trip to the Serengeti National Park, you will have breakfast at your lodging. Additionally, you will go on a game drive in Serengeti National Park’s expansive savannah and explore the center plains in search of wildlife species like the big 5.
You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp following your game drive.
Day 4; full day Serengeti national park
You will have an early breakfast at before beginning your full-day wildlife viewing activities as you explore Serengeti national park on the fourth day of your five-day Tarangire, Serengeti, and Maasai cultural trip. You will look for wildlife species like hyenas, zebras, impalas, serval cats, and many other species during the morning game drive. As you get ready for another game viewing excursion in the afternoon, you will also eat lunch.
You will search for a variety of animals and bird species during your afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park, including elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, zebras, rhinos, buffalos, hippos, cheetahs, elands, waterbucks, kudus, lions, leopards, impalas, and gazelles, among others. You will spend the night and have dinner at the Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp.
Day 5; drive to Arusha
After a relaxing breakfast, your guide will bring you back to Arusha, where your journey will come to a close with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
