Day 1; pick up and drive to Arusha

To welcome you to your Tanzania safari, your guide will pick you up from the airport or your Arusha accommodation. After a brief introduction to the safari, you will be driven to Tulia Boutique Hotel and Spa in Arusha, where you will spend the night.

Day 2; drive to Tarangire national park

Breakfast will be served at your hotel as you get ready to go to Tarangire National Park, also in the north of Tanzania. Large elephant herds and historic baobab trees can be seen in the tarangire national park.

Day 3; drive to Ngorongoro crater

Breakfast will be provided at your lodge on the third day of your 14-day Tarangire, Serengeti, Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar safari as you get ready for your transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area. Ol Olduvai gorge will also be a stop for you. Following lunch, you will enter the crater to see Lake Magadi, which is situated in the middle of the crater. Additionally, you will look for numerous animal species, including wildebeests, elephants, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and cheetahs., flamingos and zebras on the banks of Lake Magadi. Your guide will transport you to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Karatu tented resort as you take in the stunning views of Ngorongoro.

Day 4; drive to Serengeti national park

Your guide will take you to Serengeti national park, which is situated in northern Tanzania, after breakfast at your lodging. During your safari in the national park, you will enjoy looking for animal species including the “big 5” (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalos).

After settling into your accommodation in the national park, you will eat lunch. In the evening, there will be a game drive where you can observe animals including zebras, lions, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, elands, impalas, and antelopes. Serenget Heritage Luxury Tented Camp will be the location for dinner and sleep.

Day 5; full day in Serengeti national park

Breakfast will be served to you each morning at your Serengeti National Park lodge as you get ready for your early-morning wildlife drive. The national park is home to a variety of wildlife species, many of which are active in the morning and can be seen grazing there.

You will enjoy watching out for wildlife species grazing in the vast savannah of Serengeti National Park including elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, buffalos, elands, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos among others as you have lunch after your morning game drive. You will have dinner and spend the night at a luxurious tented camp with Serengeti heritage.

Day 6; drive to Arusha

You will begin your approximately seven-hour trip from Serengeti National Park to Arusha after breakfast at your resort. At the Tulia boutique hotel and spa, you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 7; Maasai cultural experience

After breakfast on the seventh day of your 14-day Tarangire, Serengeti, Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar safari, your guide will take you on a tour of Arusha where you will engage in a cultural tour with the Maasai people, learn more about their way of life, and eat a traditional lunch. You will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay after your experience at Tulia Boutique Hotel and Spa.

Day 8; waterfalls, coffee, and tour

Before you visit the waterfalls, which are located approximately three hours outside of Arusha town, breakfast will be served to you at your accommodation. You will also take part in a coffee tour on this day, visit a plantation, and discover how coffee is made from seed to cup.

Your guide will transport you back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay after this coffee tour, where you may also enjoy making your own coffee.

Day 9; Mount Kilimanjaro tour

Your tour guide will meet you in Arusha, and you’ll then travel to the foothills of Kilimanjaro Mountain, the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. You will then go out on a 6-hour ascent and 6-hour descent climb along the Marangu path. After that, a driver will take you to Moshi Town, where you’ll eat supper and spend the night at the Tulia Boutique Hotel and Spa.

Day 10; flight from Arusha to Zanzibar

After breakfast at your Arusha hotel on the tenth day of your 14-day Tarangire, Serengeti, Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar safari, your guide will take you to the airport to catch your aircraft to the island of Zanzibar. When you arrive in Zanzibar, a driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel so you can check in. The remainder of the day will be spent unwinding at the beach.

You will take part in the island’s best boat trip, which is an incredible experience as you sail in the lovely traditional Dhows. A boat trip, a delectable meal, drinks, fresh tropical fruits, snacks, snorkeling, and a visit to Menai Bay are all included. You will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay after the excursion.

Day 12;tours of the city, Prison Island, and spice routes

Following breakfast at your hotel, you’ll begin your day’s activities, which may include a city tour of the island of Zanzibar.

You may also take a private boat from Stone Town to Changuu Island, popularly known as Prison Island, where you can observe giant tortoises and go swimming while touring the island. From Changuu island, you’ll take a boat back to Stone town. On this day, you will also take part in a spice tour, visiting spice farms where you can see several exotic spices and learn about their applications, including those for cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg, among others. You will return to your hotel for dinner and the night after the spice tour.

Day 13; Zanzibar beach experience

You will get a day to unwind on Zanzibar Island’s pristine sand beaches and take in the Indian Ocean scenery.
