Day 1; pick up and drive to Kibale national park

Your guide will welcome you after picking you up from the airport or your hotel in Entebbe on the 1st day of your tour. You will also have a short briefing ahead of your drive to Kibale national park.

You will have lunch en-route and the journey will take about 6 hours you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee guest house.

Day 2; chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi experience

After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the chimpanzee trek in the Kibale forest. You will see different tree species and other primate species such as black and white colobus monkeys among the trees and also enjoy seeing various bird species during your chimpanzee trek.

You will also engage in a nature walk at the Bigodi swamp as you enjoy your natural surroundings. Your dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee guest house.

Day 3; drive to Queen Elizabeth national park

After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you from your lodge from Kibale forest national park to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will have lunch en route after which you will continue to your lodge where you will check in

You will also engage in an evening boat cruise along the Kazinga channel during your trip and during the boat ride, you will enjoy seeing hippos, buffalos, elephants and Nile crocodiles. You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery around and later return to your lodge where you will spend the night at Pumba safari lodge.

Day 4; transfer to Bwindi national park

You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for drive to Bwindi national park which is home to the endangered gorillas. You will have dinner and spend the night at Ichumbi gorilla lodge.

Day 5; gorilla habituation

Your day will start with breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters where you will have your briefing of the gorilla habituation activity by the park officials.

You will proceed into the Bwindi impenetrable forest as you begin your gorilla habituation activity during which you will interact with the endangered gorillas. You will engage in the activity for about a whole day where the gorillas move freely in their natural habitat. You will spend about 4 hours with the gorillas. You will enjoy your packed lunches from the forest and later you will meet your guide and drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Ichumbi gorilla lodge.

Day 6; drive to Lake Mburo national park

Your breakfast will be served at your lodge ahead of your drive from Bwindi national park to Lake Mburo national park. You will arrive later in the afternoon and have lunch at your lodge.

At night you will engage in a night game drive around Lake Mburo national park as you look out for various wildlife species such as hyenas, jackals, porcupines, and civets among others. Your dinner and overnight will be at Arcadia lodge.

Day 7; morning game drive and boat ride

After having breakfast at your lodge, you will prepare for a morning game drive around Lake Mburo national park. You will search for various wildlife species during your game drive such as zebras, impalas, topi, oribi, waterbucks, reedbucks among others. You will have lunch after your morning game drive.

You will also enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo as you enjoy the beautiful scenery. After your boat ride, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Arcadia lodge.

Day 8; departure

On the last day of your Uganda safari, your guide will drive you to Entebbe after you have enjoyed breakfast at your lodge. You will check out of your lodge and you will start your journey to Entebbe where your guide will drop you off at the airport which will bring your safari to an end.
