Day 1; flight from Nairobi to Masai Mara

On the first day of your safari, a flight will take you from Nairobi to the Masai Mara reserve. Your guide will be waiting for you when you arrive at the Masai Mara airstrip. He or she will greet you and take you to the lodge so you can check in.

You will also take part in a game drive in the Masai Mara region, searching for wildlife like elephants, giraffes, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, lions, leopards, and rhinos among other species on the savannah plains. You will be driven to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Mara base camp following your game drive.

Day 2; morning and afternoon game drive

Before beginning your morning game viewing adventure in the Masai Mara national reserve, breakfast will be served to you at your lodge. After breakfast, you will tour the reserve in quest of various animal species, including the big five, which includes lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinoceroses among other wildlife species.

Following your morning game drive, you will eat lunch. As the sun sets, you’ll take part in another game drive to explore a different area of the Masai Mara national reserve. Afterward, you’ll head back to your lodge for dinner and spend the night at Mara base camp.

Day 3; full day in Masai Mara

After breakfast at your lodging, your guide will take you on a full-day safari through the Masai Mara reserve to look for animals like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, buffaloes, antelopes, impalas, zebras, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, wildebeests, and cheetahs, among others, in the savannah plains.

You will go on a morning and an afternoon game drive around the Masai Mara in search of the local wildlife and other sights to see. Your guide will transport you back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Mara base camp after your game drives.

Day 4; flight from Masai mara to Diani

You will go on a morning game drive across Masai Mara after breakfast in order to look for various wildlife species in the savannah. After your game drive, you will be taken to the airport to catch your aircraft from Masai Mara to Diani. You will be picked up at the airport and driven to your hotel so you can check in.

The hotel will serve breakfast before you spend the day lounging near Diani Beach. You will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay after the day’s optional activities.

Day 7; departure

After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport for your departure flight, which will bring the tour to a close.
